Hey Everyone! Just returned from a whirlwind week in Washington, DC and then straight up to Rochester, NY for the Po Boy's CD Release concert! I am happy to say that I was able to win the Jazz Competition at ETW and had the tremendous pleasure of playing on a concert with Steve Wiest, Jim Pugh, Bill Reichenbach and the US Army Blues! What a treat that was! Thank you to everyone at ETW (Sam Woodhead, Matt Niess, and everyone else!) for a great workshop!
Now it's back to school to finish up the semester! Looking forward to a few more concerts at Juilliard, including the Jazz program's 10th Anniversary Concert Celebration 3/31 with an all alumni big band! I've started working with a few new projects around nyc now also, and have a few quintet gigs coming up, be sure to check out the calendar to stay up to date on that!
